Eric Desruennes is a French anesthesiologist and central vascular access specialist. Until 2016, he was head of the vascular access unit at Gustave Roussy Cancer Institute near Paris, the world's 3rd largest cancer center. In the 2000s, he pioneered the use of ultrasound for vascular access in France. Since 2016, he has specialized in pediatric anesthesia and vascular approaches.
